An explosion has occurred at a villa in Mölndal, the police say. There is only material damage and no injuries, Johan Josarp, the officer on duty, says.

The police were alerted to the incident before 10 p.m. on Friday.

We are working hard on the case there now, including knocking on doors and with technicians on site.

The incident is being investigated as a public danger and a violation of the Act on Flammable and Explosive Goods.

There is no suspect.
