IED event in Mali on Tue 30th December 2025

Mali 🇲🇱 | On December 30th, ISGS terrorists claimed responsibility for an IED attack against a joint patrol of Malian Armed Forces (FAMa) and Russian mercenaries from the Africa Corps near Ménaka. 🔴 Several security forces and Russian mercenaries were killed. 🔵 The wounded were evacuated by helicopter. 🔸 Under the pretext of defending the country's mineral resources, ISGS stated that it will continue to target the Wagner mercenary group, now called the Africa Corps, and that it makes no distinction between the former "infidels" of the west and the new "infidels" of the east. ⚠️ The country is becoming a dangerous zone for foreigners, who are victims of kidnapping by JNIM terrorists and targeted by ISGS terrorists. State forces are struggling to protect foreign nationals from terrorist attacks.
