On March 30, Turkish Military forces conducted airstrikes in Qandil mountains (Silsilat Jibal Qandil) region, North Iraq, targeting PKK. IT was announced on April 9 that one high-ranked PKK militant (Mehmet Soysuren) was killed during these operations.
