On December 28, a rusted mortar shell was discovered by locals in Bandi Chechian village, Haveli tehsil (revenue unit) in Poonch District of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) and safely defused by authorities near the Line of Control (LoC), reports Daily Excelsior. No casualties were reported.
