On December 19, five security force personnel were killed or injured in a blast targeting a foot patrol near Sherdil Stop, close to the Daghari Cross on the outskirts of Quetta District of Balochistan, reports The Balochistan Post. Following the blast, helicopters were seen hovering above the area, while armoured vehicles and additional contingents of forces were deployed. No group has claimed responsibility for the attack so far.
