Rocket event in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Qandahari, Mohmand District area, Pakistan on Thu 18th December 2025

Unidentified terrorists fired rockets at a Police post in the Qandahari area of Safi Tehsil (revenue unit) in Mohmand District in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) on December 18, reports Dawn. Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Headquarters Khalid Khan confirmed that multiple rockets were launched, which landed near the post without causing any casualties or damage. Police personnel immediately retaliated, forcing the attackers to flee under the cover of darkness. Following the attack, authorities initiated preliminary investigations and launched a search operation to trace the suspects. Security measures were intensified in the area, including the deployment of additional Police personnel at checkpoints and increased patrols. No group claimed responsibility for the attack.
