On December 18, a woman was injured after unidentified attackers hurled several crude bombs from a flyover in Shantinagar area of Dhaka, triggering panic among pedestrians, reports The Daily Star. Police confirmed multiple explosions but said no formal complaint has yet been received. An official from the traffic division of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP), speaking on condition of anonymity, said at least three crude bombs were thrown from the flyover between Mouchak and Shantinagar, causing panic among pedestrians and commuters.
