On December 16, nine Army personnel were killed and five were injured when a remote-controlled improvised explosive device (IED) targeted a convoy of Pakistani Army vehicles at the Balbal area in Zehri in Khuzdar District of Balochistan, and after the explosion, Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) terrorists ambushed the convoy, reports Zrumbesh. Later on, BLA spokesperson Jeeyand Baloch claimed the attack.
