On December 14, armed miscreants opened fire at a construction site in Muradpur area of Chattogram District over an extortion dispute, causing widespread panic, reports The Daily Star. Police said the attackers claimed links to fugitive gangster ‘Boro Sazzad’. No injuries were reported.
