UAV event in Syrian Arab Republic on Tue 30th December 2025

Our forces responded decisively to suicide drone attacks in the vicinity of the Tishrin Dam. In a dangerous escalation and a continuation of their policy of destabilizing security and stability, the Sultan Murad, Sultan Suleiman Shah/al-Amshat, and Hamzat factions, affiliated with the Ministry of Defense of the Damascus government, targeted the residential area around the Tishrin Dam at 11:00 AM on Tuesday with two suicide drones. The attack resulted in no casualties among our forces. At 4:00 PM that same day, the same factions renewed their attacks, targeting the Syriatel hill in the vicinity of the Tishrin Dam with two more suicide drones, again without causing any casualties. In response to these repeated attacks, our forces carried out a legitimate and direct retaliatory strike against the launch sites of the suicide drones, targeting a Toyota military vehicle and a military position belonging to these factions, inflicting confirmed casualties.
