Two junta soldiers were killed when resistance forces fired 107 mm short‑range rockets at the Central Military Command headquarters inside the Mandalay Palace compound, according to a spokesperson from Brave Warriors for Myanmar (BWM) who spoke with Yangon Khit Thit News.

The attack took place around 1 a.m. on December 28. Resistance fighters fired five 107 mm rockets at the junta’s Central Command base, with four landing accurately inside the target area. At least two soldiers were reportedly killed, and ambulances were seen entering and leaving the compound afterward.
