Six junta soldiers were killed when resistance forces attacked a military unit stationed in Yonegyi Kyi Village, Taungtha Township, Mandalay Region, according to an officer from Myingyan District Battalion 3, who spoke with Yangon Khit Thit News.
The attack took place around 5:30 a.m. on December 21, when allied resistance forces, led by Deputy Battalion Commander Ko Min Thar Gyi from Myingyan District Battalion 3, launched a coordinated ground assault on the junta camp stationed in Yonegyi Kyi Village, Taungtha Township.
During the clash, six junta soldiers were killed, and the resistance forces seized some military equipment and ammunition. However, one resistance fighter from Battalion 3 was also killed, and four others were injured.
