A military convoy was attacked with landmines on the Yangon–Pyay Highway in Letpadan Township, Bago Region, resulting in injuries among junta soldiers, according to an officer from the Shwe Tan Myay People’s Defense Force (PDF) under the Tharyarwaddy District Battalion 1, who spoke to Yangon Khit Thit News.

The attack occurred around 10 a.m. on December 21, when resistance forces detonated two remote-controlled landmines targeting a convoy of about ten junta soldiers moving toward a canal embankment area in Letpadan Township.
