In Chaung-U Township, Sagaing Region, resistance forces attacked a junta military unit stationed in Amyint Village using more than 50 rounds of 60 mm artillery fire, resulting in the death of one soldier and the destruction of a building, according to a member of the Royal Tiger Force who spoke to Yangon Khit Thit News.

The attack occurred on December 19 between 4:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. when revolutionary forces fired over 50 rounds of 60 mm mortars at the military troops, about 200 in number, encamped in Amyint Village.
