According to resistance sources, revolutionary forces successfully captured a junta military outpost on Thit Phu La Mountain in Kawlin Township, Sagaing Region, despite heavy airstrikes and artillery bombardments. Two resistance fighters were killed in the operation.

The attack began around 10 a.m. on December 19, when joint resistance forces launched an assault on the junta base, which was manned by about 50 soldiers. After nearly a full day of intense fighting, the resistance captured the camp on the morning of December 20. Many junta soldiers were reportedly killed during the battle.
