According to a spokesperson from the Black Tiger Guerrilla Force, seven junta soldiers were killed when resistance fighters ambushed a column advancing toward Phayar Gyi Kone Village in Kyaukpadaung Township, Mandalay Region, with landmines.

The ambush occurred along the road between Inn Pin Gyi and San Tun Gyi villages, where revolutionary forces detonated mines as junta troops attempted to attack Phayar Gyi Kone. Seven soldiers were killed, and many others were injured. Resistance fighters withdrew safely without suffering casualties.
