Intense clashes are ongoing in Kamma Town, Pakokku Township, Magway Region, forcing local residents to flee for safety, according to a spokesperson from the Pakokku Township People’s Security Team.

On the morning of December 13, local resistance joint forces intercepted and attacked a junta column advancing from Pakokku Town near the General Aung San statue in central Kamma. The military responded by firing targeted artillery shells, injuring some civilians and causing panic among residents who fled the town in large numbers.
