According to a local resistance source based in Ye Phyu, Tanintharyi Region, members of the People’s Defense Force (PDF) raided and attacked all government offices in Ye Phyu town, setting fire to them and destroying voting machines and administrative documents.

The attack began around 7 a.m. on December 12, when PDF units launched coordinated assaults on all government buildings, including the police station, the General Administration Department (GAD) office, and the Land Records Department office.

After the attacks, the PDF forces reportedly set fire to all these offices, together with the voting machines stored there. Although they were unable to completely burn down the police station, almost all buildings inside the police compound were damaged, and many junta soldiers were reportedly killed or injured.
