RPG event in Lebanon on Mon 29th December 2025

As part of the security measures implemented by the military across Lebanon to pursue those who disrupt security and combat drug trafficking, an army unit, supported by a patrol from the Directorate of Military Intelligence, conducted raids in the town of Al-Yamouneh, Baalbek. These raids resulted in the discovery of a drug manufacturing facility and the confiscation of a large quantity of drugs, in addition to military equipment. Furthermore,
a patrol from the Directorate of Military Intelligence arrested (A.H.) on the Airport Road in the southern suburbs of Beirut. He was wanted for forming a gang involved in armed robbery and theft, trafficking in military weapons, firing weapons, and instigating disturbances.
The seized items were handed over, and an investigation was launched with the detainee under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
