Locals reported that on December 27, two military aircraft bombed and opened fire near a row of roadside restaurants in Khin-U Township, Sagaing Region — an area previously struck in recent days — killing nine people and injuring at least ten others.

According to the Khin-U Township People’s Administration Team (Pa-Ah-Phat), the attack occurred shortly after noon near a row of eateries east of Myay Ni Lyo Village, where cargo trucks and fuel tankers often stop. A fighter jet and an MI-35 helicopter carried out multiple bombing and strafing runs, targeting a restaurant that provided internet access via Starlink and a nearby tea shop.
