Yesterday (December 23), an airstrike in Wetlet Township, Sagaing Region, killed seven civilians — including elderly people and children — when a bomb exploded near a dugout shelter. Six others were injured.

The attack took place around 4:30 p.m. near Ngapatt Chaung Village, located on the eastern bank of the Ayeyarwady River. Fighter jets dropped three bombs that landed inside a monastery compound and nearby homes.
