Around 12:38 p.m. on December 16, three gyrocopters dispatched from the Northwestern Command based in Monywa carried out bombing runs near Gway Kone village.

During these attacks, a monk and three civilians traveling in cargo trucks, fuel trucks, and vehicles carrying war refugees were killed, and two others were injured, according to the same PDF spokesperson.
