On 21 November 2025, suspected ENDF soldiers clashed with Fano in Jarsa (Guba Lafto, North Wello, Amhara), killing at least 20 soldiers (fatalities uncorroborated). The clash started when the ENDF soldiers launched an attack against the Fano militia members who were coordinating a religious celebration in a local Orthodox church. Uncorroborated number of fatalities coded as 10.
