On 21 November 2025, police forces in Busra Esh Sham discovered four vehicles loaded with explosive materials and organic substances used in manufacturing explosives and narcotics on the Busra Esh Sham road in eastern Dara countryside (coded to Busra Esh-Sham). During the pursuit, members of the smuggling group detonated one of the vehicles after it was stopped. Police forces continued the chase of the remaining three vehicles into the plains between Busra Esh Sham and Kherba town, where they were seized along with their contents, which initial investigations indicated were intended for smuggling into As Sweida city. Casualties unknown.
