On 20 November 2025, the police exchanged fire with two men, suspected to be affiliated with BKI, and seized four pistols, 50 cartridges, and two hand grenades in the Ludhiana district (coded to Ludhiana city, Punjab) during an encounter. The two men were injured and arrested by the police.
