Other MoA event in Lakes, Tiap Tiap area, South Sudan on Thu 20th November 2025

On 20 November 2025, armed individuals suspected of being members of the Ruruot section of the Gok/Gak Dinka community from Citcok attacked members of the Panyar sub-section of the Macar section of the Gok/Gak Dinka community in Tiap Tiap, Citcok Payam (Cueibet, Lakes). The incident was linked to revenge. A similar incident was reported on 19 November 2025 (coded separately). Both incidents resulted in at least 8 fatalities and 7 injuries. William Koji Kirjok, the acting minister of information for Lakes State, noted that security personnel had been deployed to restore normalcy. An SPLM/A-IO member from the area disputed the deployment of security personnel, adding that there were 11 fatalities. Fatalities coded as 8, split between the 2 days, and coded as 4 for this event.
