On 20 November 2025, in Pacaraima (Roraima), military police officers clashed with the driver of a car during a high-speed pursuit on the BR-174 after attempting to stop two vehicles traveling with their headlights off. The driver broke through Operation Acolhida checkpoints, fired at the officers, and fled across the border into Venezuela, while another vehicle involved was found abandoned with approximately 1,950 liters of diesel stored illegally. There were no casualties.
