On 20 November 2025, in Machadinho D'Oeste (Rondonia), military police officers shot and killed two men on RO-133 during patrols linked to a recent court-ordered eviction of several farms. Police stated that the incident was an armed clash, while the CPT disputed this and claimed the men were pursued while leaving the area and that no exchange of fire occurred. Police said they seized guns and ammunition, but the scene was not examined by criminal forensics. 2 fatalities.
