On 20 November 2025, in Araucaria (Parana), three armed individuals in a car shot and killed a man in front of a residential complex on Pelicano Street. After the initial shot from inside the moving vehicle, two perpetrators stepped out, kicked the victim, struck him with their weapons, and fired multiple additional shots before fleeing. They abandoned the car with bulletproof vests inside. The victim had prior criminal records, including involvement in drug trafficking and homicide. The motive for the attack remains unclear. 1 fatality.
