On 20 November 2025, QSD forces attacked Syrian army positions on Ghanim al-Ali axis in Ar Raqqa countryside, which resulted in clashes between both sides, while Syrian army forces and pro-regime militias used artillery and drones to repel the attack, and managed to disable two QSD military vehicles. Clashes resulted in killing 2 Syrian army members and 3 QSD members, and injuring four others. Conflicted reports mentioned 6 Syrian army fatalities.
