On 19 November 2025, in Chauk township (Magway district, Magway region), a combined force of the Chauk Guerrilla Force, the People's Defense Force - Chauk, the Tiger Fighter Force, and the Chauk Special Attack Force carried out mine attacks against two vehicles transporting five prisoners from Chauk Myoma police station on the No.3 Pyidaungsu Highway at about 7 am. The two sides then exchanged fire for about 10 minutes. 2 police officers were killed, and the combined force rescued a member of the CGF who had been arrested and jailed for a total of 223 years under different charges.
