On 19 November 2025, an IED of unknown origin exploded while the convoy of a commander in the 22nd IRG Infantry Brigade passed over it in the desert road between Marib and Al Jawf governorates (coded to Marib governorate capital Marib) (Marib City). The explosion killed 2 of the commander's guards and injured 4 others. The commander survived another recent 'assassination attempt' on 27 October in Ruwayk (coded on a separate event).
