On 19 November 2025, security forces (coded as the army and the police) conducted a security operation in Sarjinar/Rahim Awa areas of Kirkuk city (Kirkuk). During the raid and a subsequent chase they shot a 33-year-old civilian accused of drug trafficking. He was transferred to a hospital. 1 injured. There were no fatalities.
