On 19 November 2025, in the Saint Catherine parish (coded to Spanish Town), Kingston, police forces shot and killed three armed men during a chase along the Nelson Mandela Highway. The clash happened as the police were chasing a suspect in the killing of a corporal on 6 December 2024 (coded separately). According to police, the armed occupants of the vehicle opened fire on them first after they refused to obey the police's order to stop and were intercepted. The vehicle was linked to multiple robbery cases while the suspects were part of a network also responsible for shootings. 3 fatalities.
