On 18 November 2025, Taliban members opened fire on residents in Zor Barawul village of Dangam district, Kunar, wounding three women. The incident occurred after the intelligence director of Dangam district sent delegates-including the district governor, the regional security control officer, and a tribal commander-to resolve a legal dispute, but they began shooting in favor of one party against the opposing side.
