On 18 November 2025, suspected SPLM/A-IO members ambushed SSPDF forces at the Torit Military Hospital in Ibalani/Ibalany, Torit Payam (Torit, Eastern Equatoria), resulting in 3 fatalities. The SPLM/A-IO was repulsed and pursued toward the eastern side of Torit Town (no further information). SPLM/A-IO and NAS jointly claimed the assault resulted in 10 SSPDF fatalities and several injuries. Fatalities coded as 3. The perpetrators separately ambushed the Torit County Commissioner's vehicle (coded separately).
