On 18 November 2025, at around 9:30 PM local time, an Israeli drone struck a car with three missiles stationed at a car parking near Khaled Bin Al Walid mosque in Ein el Hilweh refugee camp (Sayda, South). Thirteen individuals were killed and nine others were injured in the strike. The Israeli military claimed it targeted a training compound for Hamas militants in the area. The bodies of those killed in the attack were wrapped in the Hamas flag during the funeral.
