On 18 November 2025, in Parobe (Rio Grande do Sul), an unidentified perpetrator shot and killed a man with more than ten pistol rounds as he arrived at his home on Rua das Flores in the Planalto neighborhood. The victim had prior records for homicide, illegal gun possession, and theft, was under electronic monitoring, and had been held in a prison wing associated with Os Abertos gang. The motive for the attack remains unclear. 1 fatality.
