On 18 November 2025, unknown gunmen opened fire targeting a man in Amara city (Maysan), following an armed clash that had taken place a day earlier and in which 2 people had been killed. The victim survived. On the same day, unknown gunmen set fire, amid gunfire, to the house of one of the parties involved in an armed clash the previous day in Maysan province. There were no fatalities.
