On 18 November 2025, an unidentified armed group sporadically shot at commuters and killed 2 people along the Ilorin-Kabba Road, location coded to the midpoint between the two towns, Osi (Ekiti, Kwara). Commuters abandoned their vehicles and ran into the bush. Many people were injured.
