On 18 November 2025, in Guatemala City, Guatemala, armed men on a motorcycle ambushed, shot and killed a former deputy of the Constituent Assembly, while the victim was driving on the Villa Linda bridge, in Zone 7 (drive-by). According to the investigators, the former legislator had been threatened in the past. The reason for the attack and the identity of the perpetrators are unknown. 1 fatality.
