On 17 November 2025, near Falam town (coded as Falam) (Falam township, Falam district, Chin state), fighting broke out between an advancing column of around 300 Myanmar military troops and the Chin National Defense Force, the Chin National Army Column - 2, the Chin Brotherhood Alliance and allies from 8:30 am till evening along the Manipur river. During the armed clash, the military conducted airstrikes and dropped bombs with a fighter jet and a Y-12 plane around 2 pm and 3 pm. The combined troops seized some weapons and ammunition. Some military soldiers were killed and injured. There were an unspecified number of fatalities. Unspecified fatalities coded as 3.
