On 17 November 2025, in Thar Si village (Monywa township, Monywa district, Sagaing region), the combined troops of the Budalin Township Joint Force Column, the Rocket Fighter Pauk People's Defense Force, the Chindwin Spring Revolution Armed Force, the People's Defense Force - Nyaung-U District Battalion - 3, the Bo Tiger Group - Tabayin and local people's defense forces attacked the Myanmar military and police stationed at the Thar Si police station around 9 am. The armed clash lasted around 30 minutes and Mizzima reported that 4 policemen were killed.
