On 17 November 2025, near Cajibio (Cauca), an explosive dropped from a drone detonated on a farm near the urban area of the town, damaging an electrical tower. According to locals, the device belonged to FARC dissidents who intended to target the police station; however, the attack failed and the explosive fell on the rural property instead. There were no casualties.
