On 17 November 2025, in Tartarugalzinho (Amapa), military police officers clashed with and killed a drug trafficker during an operation against organized crime on Ramal do Limao. The man had prior records for illegal gun possession, attempted homicide, receiving stolen goods, and drug trafficking, and had recently threatened residents. Officers seized a shotgun and spent cartridges at the scene. 1 fatality.
