On 17 November 2025, in Barra Mansa (Rio de Janeiro), the military police exchanged fire with drug traffickers during a police chase in the Vila Maria neighborhood. Agents seized two guns, ammunition, cellphones and the car used by the drug traffickers, which was stolen. There were no casualties.
