On 17 November 2025, in Guayaquil - Tarqui (Guayas), an unknown number of unidentified individuals blew up an explosive device outside a house at the intersection of 28th and C Streets. The attack might have been targeted against the owner of one of the houses in the area. There were no reports of material damage or victims. There were no casualties.
