On 17 November 2025, the Nigerian military clashed with ISWAP while repelling their attack on their base in Mayenti town, also spelled Mayinti (Bama, Borno). The militia killed 4 CJTF members and 4 workers of the Borno State Ministry of Rehabilitation, Reconstruction, and Resettlement, and burned the ministry's vehicle while retreating. The military killed several ISWAP fighters. Unspecified fighters fatalities coded as 10 and 8 fatalities from CJTF and workers. 18 fatalities coded.
