On 16 November 2025, in Sinbaungwe township (Thayet district, Magway region), the People's Defense Force - Thayet District (Battalion-5) attacked Myanmar military troops traveling in two vehicles on the Koe Pin-Thar Ga Ya road at about 4 pm. 3 military troops, including a captain, were killed. The PDF also seized one MA-13 magazine, 20 rounds of MA13 ammo, one AK firearm, one 79mm grenade launcher, six 40mm grenades, a uniform, and a mobile phone.
