On 16 November 2025, BLF militants conducted sniper fire at a military check post in the Shipchar mountainous area of Mand tehsil (Kech, Balochistan). After a brief exchange of fire, assailants fled the scene. Baloch regional sources claim possible military casualties. BLF claim one military personnel was killed and another was wounded. Fatalities uncorroborated with 1 fatality coded and 1 injured.
